The Battle at Kruger

Here is the link to the video Greg Surratt spoke about at the HonorBound Conference woven together with 1 Peter 5. As I watched it, it moved me to step it up as a man of God once again! As you watch it, remember what his main points were!

1. Keep an eye out for prowling lions! Lions kill their prey by strangling the life out of them. That’s what the enemy of your soul wants to do to you! Remember, it takes many good deeds to build a reputation and only one bad one to destroy it! The enemy is relentless…he wants to strangle the life out of you.

2. Always hang with the herd! There are several things that tend to separate us from the herd…Immaturity, Offense (Prov. 18:19), Shame & Busyness. Let’s guard ourselves from these things and hang together through thick and thin!

3. When you’re up to your neck in lions & crocodiles, you need to depend on the Big Buffaloes to help you! You are a Big Buffalo to someone! Someone in your family, at work, at church needs you to be a big buffalo! Guard, protect, encourage, surround, serve willingly, eagerly and humbly.

4. It’s not over till the Fat Buffalo Sings! It’s never too late to resist Satan! Resist the devil and he will flee from you!
